Context

A large proportion of promotional decisions occur at the manager level with HR facilitating the process. Generally, there is a great deal of organizational value in employee promotion, however, trend analysis indicates that there are potential and unforeseen pitfalls as well.

1. Describe both of the following concepts: the employee value proposition (EVP) and employee lifetime value. 
   1. Include specifics on each regarding elements, models, and legal considerations. 
   2. Detail why each of these two concepts are important toward retention goals. 
   3. Discuss a surprising or interesting fact regarding EVP or lifetime value models or practices within any of the employers you have direct experience with.
